Livelink is a database driven web-based Knowledge Management system from Canadian company OpenText, who are the current market leaders in this field.
I began using Livelink about 10 years ago as an Administrator / Developer. Over that time I have written or collected various useful items that I present here on this website with the hope that others may find them helpful and also contribute their own to expand this collection.
I am a Livelink Certified Developer (with Distinction) and have experience of most Livelink modules - especially Workflow & WebLingo - as well as wide exposure to other web technologies which I use to further enhance Livelink. Other contributors to this site bring their own skillsets and experience.
At LiveLinkUp Phoenix in 2006, I was selected as one of a handful of ECM Champions as part of the OpenText Global Star program. In 2007 I was lucky enough to be awarded this accolade for the second year running, which given that the ECM Champion program is only two years old and only ten are awarded each year is a wonderful honour. You can also read a Press Release from my employer about my 2006 award.
Therefore I say a big thank you to all those of you who nominated or voted for me, and also a big thank you to all of you who visit this site and provide suggestions, feedback and new contributions, for that is what really makes this worth doing. If you would be interested in nominating me for the 2009 award you can do so via the Nomination Form.
This site is constantly being expanded by myself and others who add content in the various different sections of the site - see the ticker at the top for the latest additions. The newest sections concern OScript Snippets, WebLingo - including a tutorial - and the Dr. LAPI sections. Any help in adding content to this site is appreciated. Before using any of the items in this section, please read the site disclaimer and follow the suggested guidelines.
