Livelink is a database driven web-based Knowledge Management system from Canadian company Open Text, who are the current market leaders in this field.
I began using Livelink about 10 years ago as an Administrator / Developer. Over that time I have written or collected various useful items that I present here on this website with the hope that others may find them helpful and also contribute their own to expand this collection.
I am a Livelink Certified Developer (with Distinction) and have experience of most Livelink modules - especially Workflow & WebLingo - as well as wide exposure to other web technologies which I use to further enhance Livelink. Other contributors to this site bring their own skillsets and experience.
At LiveLinkUp Phoenix in 2006, I was selected as one of a handful of ECM Champions as part of the Open Text Global Star program. In 2007 I was lucky enough to be awarded this accolade for the second year running, which given that the ECM Champion program is only a few years old and only ten are awarded each year is a wonderful honour. You can also read a Press Release from my employer about my 2006 award. If you would be interested in nominating me, or anyone else, for this years award you can do so via the Nomination Form.In July 2009, I was in the first batch of people to be invited to the "Open Text MCP - Implementer" course looking at how Livelink can be used to enhance a companies existing Sharepoint offering using Open Text's Content Lifecycle Management Services for Sharepoint.
This site is constantly being expanded by myself and others who add content in the various different sections of the site - see the ticker at the top for the latest additions. The newest sections concern OScript Snippets, WebLingo - including a tutorial - and the Dr. LAPI sections. Any help in adding content to this site is appreciated. Before using any of the items in this section, please read the site disclaimer and follow the suggested guidelines.
