As of version 2.5, it has been decided that users of the Toolkit should be encouraged to register themselves. This allows the developer(s) to see who is using their work, provide a list of people to whom notification can be sent when a new version is released as well as providing a user community to offer support, bug fixes and enhancement requests / patches. Registration is optional, but encouraged, for all current users and compulsory for all new users.
The code is developed in VBScript as an ASP file with extensive technical and support documentation to assist those implementing the Workflow Toolkit either as a new tool or upgrading from a previous version. Additional enhancements, functionality, bug fixes etc are welcomed as are people who wish to join the development team. At present only a Window ASP version exists, but the following versions are currently under development and any input / support to these, the ASP version or a entirely new implementation would really be appreciated :
- Version for the Unix environment.
- Compiled version as a VB ActiveX DLL.
- .Net Framework version.
